Security in Sensitive Areas

There are "sensitive areas" at all levels, for example in safes, rooms in buildings, buildings themselves, industrial, military or residential areas, ports, airports and air bases, national or international borders, etc. There are two aspects to making sensitive areas secure against aggression attempts, and Sphinx has a wide range of solutions for these aspects:

  • Protection against fraudulent penetration (or escape …) attempts by persons at checkpoints; the objective is identify or verify/confirm the identity of a person who present himself / herself and his/her access rights, using multibiometry techniques (fingerprints, iris recognition, face recognition, etc.), and cryptology when the person presents electronic documents.
  • Protection against intrusion attempts elsewhere than at regulation checkpoints; the objective is then surveillance (and possibly action) in the broad sense of the term, a field in which Sagem Sécurité excels with its fixed or onboard products and systems (vehicles, aircraft, ships) making use of a strong optronic component.

MORPHOACCESS™

altThe MORPHOACCESS™ is a fingerprint reader dedicated to physical access control. It is designed to create or reinforce security systems, and has all interfaces (RS 485, Wiegand,…) necessary for it to be integrated into a new or existing access control system. The terminal includes all components necessary for capturing fingerprints, for the storage of fingerprints for up to 50 000 persons and identification of an individual, all in a small terminal. It can be used in identification or authentication mode.
